The feedback we've received about the Rack'Em Trimmer Rack for Enclosed Cargo Trailers # RA-5 is that the trimmers do a great job staying put. You could potentially wrap a bungee cord or something similar around them, but there isn't an add-on to keep them inside the hooks.
If you're really wanting something that "traps" the trimmers then I recommend picking up the Pack'Em Trimmer Rack for Enclosed Trailers # PK-6-5 instead. This is the same concept but the place where the main handle... view full answer...
The RackEm Trimmer Rack for Enclosed Cargo Trailers # RA-5 has the top two hooks bent inward and the bottom hook not bent in. Our video states this is for larger items and references a pole saw or trimmer, but customers have used power pruners and trimmers in all three locations. view full answer...
The Tow-Rax Trimmer Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PXSPDDTR3 is designed to hold weed whackers and trimmers but pole saws are the same shape in regards to their shaft so I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work for a pole saw.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Tow-Rax Trimmer Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PXSPDDTR3. view full answer...
I have one solution as the Pack'em Trimmer Rack Arm Kit # PK-6S2 will not mount on the back of the Pack'em Ladder Rack # PK-28WL2-BMH.
You can install the Pack'em Trimmer Rack # PK-6 and attach the Ladder Rack Bracket Kit # PK-28WL to the opposite side to carry your ladders. view full answer...
The two Rackem trailer cargo items you referenced, Trimmer Rack # RA-3 and Blower Rack # RA-4, certainly can be used inside your cargo van provided you have a suitable mounting point. You will need to have a point for the top hook to grab, such as the inside rail you mentioned, but you'll also need to install screws on the lower portion to secure it to the side of the van. It will likely be easiest to first mount some wood to the van wall - perhaps a vertical 2 x 4 - to accept the mounting... view full answer...
Yes, the Pack'Em Trimmer Rack for Riding and Walk-Behind Lawn Mowers # PK-MOWER-6S2 is universal so it will be compatible with your John Deere 997R & your John Deere 1580 commercial mowers.
You'll just want to make sure that this gets mounted in an area that can support both the rack and mower. view full answer...
You could still use the Pack'Em Trimmer Rack # PK-6 on your trailer with the rounded frame. The rack could potentially want to pivot.
To prevent that you could put a brace between the two up rights. So you would run a bolt through the frame, through an upright, and through one end of a flat steel bar. Then do the same on the other side. The brace between the 2 uprights would help prevent them from twisting. view full answer...
Good news. All of our trimmer racks are mounted by drilling holes into the frame rail (angled, round, or flat) of your trailer.
My recommendation is to be very careful that when you are drilling your mounting holes to be sure they are straight so that the rack will mount properly.
I really like the Pack'Em # PK-6, because it has included locks to secure your cargo to your trailer. view full answer...
The usable dimensions of the tray part of cargo carrier # PS10401-10402 are 47-3/4 inches long by 31-3/4 inches wide by 2-3/4 inches deep. Since the mower width is 31.9 inches it would be just a little too wide to fit on this carrier. But this carrier is still the best option since none of the others are as wide. The mower would have to sit and a slight angle to fit.
Adding any sort of trimmer or blower rack to he carrier would require modification and/or drilling into the carrier which... view full answer...
It all depends on how much room you have on the inside of your 5x10 trailer. The rail piece of the Pack'Em Trimmer Rack # PK-6-5 measures 46" while the upper mount is 11-3/4" tall from the hook to the piece that meets the rail. The bottom mount sits in line with the rail so at the least you need 57-3/4" (4' 9-3/4") of height in your trailer. view full answer...
Yes, the Pack'em Trimmer Rack for Utility Trailers # PK-6 simply bolts onto the railing of a typical utility trailer so you could just as easily bolt it to your enclosed trailer. I have personally seen many landscaping companies here in Missouri do exactly that so its not far from the norm here. You will most likely need some longer bolts to go through the wall of your trailer but you can easily find a suitable size bolt at your local hardware store to make this installation easy peasy. view full answer...
I spoke to my contact at Pack'Em and they informed me that you will not need an adapter to use your RedMax Blower EBZ8500 on the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers part # PK-6-OP1. I have attached an install video of the above rack for you as well. It is designed to hold 1 leaf blower, 1 beverage cooler, 1 line spool, and 3 lawn trimmers. The leaf blower and lawn trimmers can be locked to the rack using the included padlocks. view full answer...
The Pack'Em Trimmer Rack part # PK-6S installs directly on the trailer's side rail (see photo 1). The Pack'Em Expansion Pack part # PK-OP1 installs on a set of uprights like the Pack'EmTower Kit for Pack'Em Racks part # PK-BM (see photo 2) so I am not really sure I understand what you mean. They do not attach to one another.
Please let me know if you need further clarification. view full answer...
Yes, the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PK-6-OP1 is compatible with your 2' high trailer sides. The supports don't necessarily have to rest on the floor of your trailer so you can raise them to whatever height is needed for your application. I spoke with my contact at Rack'em and was able to verify that the Backpack Blower Adapter # RA-STIHL referenced in your question is indeed compatible with your Stihl BR-700 Backpack Blower.
This adapter kit will work great with the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PK-6-OP1 to hold your blower. This is a really great system that will allow you to load up your trimmers and backpack blower to your open trailer. I have attached a couple of short video demonstrations on this product... view full answer...
